COSTA RICAN FROGS

Voices of Costa Rican
Frogs and Toads:

Unidentified/ Mystery Sounds Section

© David L. Ross, Jr. 2009

These recordings are presented here with the hope of accurately placing a name on the vocalist. They have all been recorded in Costa Rica, but at present they are either unidentified or unconfirmed as to species.

All of these cuts are currently thought to have originated from either a frog or a toad, though if a vocalist is not observed visually then there is the possibility that the sound source is not actually an anuran at all.

So if you've a handle on any of these sounds please email me with the track # at dlrossjr@gmail.com

Each recording for now, has a track # and a link to a description of the recording. It works well with Internet Explorer, and the Windows Media Player. With this setup, the page should display properly, and while the media player handles the audio, the browser still allows you to link to the information in the description.
